Commercial Parking Lot Striping in Southwest Louisiana

Crisp, clean striping is one of the first things customers and employees notice about a property. We stripe commercial parking lots throughout Southwest Louisiana using traffic-grade paint, laid out for clear traffic flow and maximum usable spaces.

What's included

  • Standard parking stall striping
  • Directional arrows and traffic flow markings
  • Fire lane painting and curb marking
  • Access aisle striping
  • Stop bars and crosswalk markings
  • Numbering and reserved-space stenciling

Faded or missing lines make a parking lot look neglected and can make parking and traffic flow confusing for visitors. We re-establish clean, straight lines using traffic paint suited for Louisiana's heat and rain.

Every estimate starts with understanding your lot — from photos, a site plan, or measurements you send us, or an on-site visit for larger or more complex jobs. We'll go over layout and paint colors with you before any work begins.

From small offices to industrial sites

We stripe lots of every size, from a ten-space medical office to the truck court of a distribution center. Recent work includes schools, medical offices, a credit union, a funeral home and an Amazon distribution center in Carencro. The process is the same on each one: confirm the layout, mark it out on the pavement, and paint with a commercial walk-behind line striper so the lines come out straight and a consistent width.

New layout or restripe?

If the pavement is new or the old lines are gone, the job is a new parking lot layout: we measure, mark out and stripe from a plan. If the layout is still visible and still works, a restripe repaints what's there for less. Most lots also need ADA space markings and some curb and safety markings; larger sites often add arrows, stencils and crosshatching.

If the pavement needs more than paint

If a lot needs sealcoating, crack repair or patching before it's striped, tell us when you request an estimate. We can coordinate asphalt work through qualified subcontractors so the striping goes down on a sound surface.

How a striping job runs

  1. Send photos, a site plan or just the address, and tell us what you need marked.
  2. We confirm the layout, colors and counts with you: stalls, arrows, accessible spaces and curbs.
  3. We schedule around your hours. The area being painted needs to be clear of vehicles, clean and dry.
  4. We mark the layout out on the pavement, then paint with a walk-behind line striper.
  5. We tell you when each area can reopen. Traffic paint is usually dry to the touch in 30 minutes to a couple of hours, depending on heat and humidity.

What affects the price

Striping is priced by the job. These are the things that can move the number:

  • The size of the lot: how many stalls and how many feet of line
  • Whether it's a new layout or a restripe of lines that are already there
  • Extras such as accessible spaces, arrows, stencils, curbs and wheel stops
  • The condition of the surface: dirt, standing water or failing pavement
  • Scheduling, if the work has to be done in phases, at night or on a weekend

Send photos and a rough count and we can usually give you a number without a site visit.

Common questions

What color should parking lot lines be?

White and yellow are both standard. Yellow shows up better on light concrete, and white stands out on dark asphalt. Blue is used for accessible spaces, and red for fire lanes where the fire marshal calls for it. On a restripe we normally match what's there unless you want to change it.

How wide is a parking line, and how big is a space?

A standard line is 4 inches wide. Most parking spaces are laid out about 9 feet wide and 18 feet long, but local codes and your site plan control. On a new layout we confirm the dimensions with you before painting.

Do you stripe both concrete and asphalt?

Yes. Much of our work in Southwest Louisiana is on concrete, and our distribution center work in Carencro was on asphalt.

Can you stripe after it rains?

The pavement has to be dry for paint to bond, so rain pushes a job back. We watch the forecast and reschedule with you rather than paint a damp lot.

How long does a striping job take?

A small office lot is typically done in a single visit. Larger lots and new layouts can be done in phases so part of the lot stays open.
