Parking Lot Restriping & Line Refresh
Sun, rain, and everyday traffic fade parking lot lines faster than most property owners expect. Restriping is one of the most cost-effective ways to refresh a commercial property's curb appeal without a full pavement overhaul.
What's included
- Full-lot restriping to original layout
- Layout adjustments and space reconfiguration
- Faded ADA space and fire lane refresh
- Wheel stop, bollard and curb repainting
We can match your existing layout exactly, or work with you to reconfigure a lot that no longer fits how the property is used — more compact stalls, added accessible spaces, or better-defined traffic lanes.
Timelines depend on lot size, layout complexity, and paint cure time — we'll give you a realistic timeline as part of your quote, and coordinate with property managers to minimize disruption.
Before and after
When it's time to restripe
Most lots tell you when it's time: stall lines you can barely see from the driver's seat, accessible symbols that have worn away, arrows drivers no longer follow. Faded white lines on concrete are especially hard to read, which is why some restripes, like the one at Kinder High School, switch to yellow.
If the lines are gone completely, or the lot never had a layout that worked, the job becomes a new parking lot layout instead. Restripes usually include ADA space markings and curb and wheel stop painting in the same visit.
Common questions
How often should a parking lot be restriped?
Most commercial lots need it every one to three years. Busy lots, lots in full sun and lots with a lot of turning traffic fade fastest. If the lines are hard to see from the driver's seat, or the accessible symbols have worn thin, it's time.
Can you restripe while we stay open?
Usually. We can work in sections so part of the lot stays open, or come early, late or on a weekend when the lot is empty.
Can you change the layout during a restripe?
Yes. Old lines that no longer apply have to be covered or removed so drivers aren't confused, which is easier on asphalt than on concrete. Tell us what isn't working and we'll go over the options before we price it.
Does restriping affect accessible parking?
It can. When a lot is restriped, the accessible spaces are expected to meet the current ADA standards for number, size and access aisles. Our ADA parking lot striping page has the federal numbers.
