Curb Painting & Safety Markings
Beyond stall lines, we handle the detail work that keeps a commercial property safe and looking sharp: curb painting, fire lanes, wheel stops, bollards and crosshatched no-parking zones.
What's included
- Curb painting (fire lane red, no-parking yellow, etc.)
- Fire lane markings and lettering
- Wheel stop painting
- Bollard painting
- Crosshatched no-parking zones and walkways
- Loading zone markings
These details are often what separates a lot that looks maintained from one that doesn't. We handle curb, wheel stop and bollard painting as a standalone service or bundled with a full striping or restriping job.
Fire lanes and no-parking zones
Fire lane requirements are set by the local fire marshal and the property's site plan. We paint curbs and lettering in the colors and wording your property is required to have. If you're not sure what applies, check with your fire marshal before we paint.
Crosshatching
Crosshatching marks pavement that has to stay clear: access aisles, walkways at building entrances, the ends of parking rows, and keep-clear zones around equipment and loading areas. For larger sites, see commercial and industrial pavement markings.
Common questions
What color should a fire lane curb be?
That is set by your fire marshal. Red curbs with white lettering are common, and some jurisdictions use yellow. We paint whatever your fire marshal or site plan specifies.
Can curbs and wheel stops be painted the same day as striping?
Yes. On most jobs the curbs, wheel stops and bollards are painted in the same visit as the stall lines.
Do you take small jobs, like only the curbs or wheel stops?
Yes. Curb, wheel stop and bollard painting can be done on its own without a full restripe.
